The Photography of Jeff Suchak

Jeff Suchak is a self-taught nature photographer who describes his process as, "documenting reverence, practicing the wild."

Nothing makes him happier than to be laying in a muddy, rocky riverbed at sunrise or camped out at a frozen waterfall capturing the prisms and reflections within the water and ice that many of us would never see were it not for his quirky dedication and obsessive need to connect with Creation at its most mysterious and transitory moments.

Jeff beholds the landscape as the cradle of Mythic memory.

Jeff continues to shoot exclusively with 35 mm slide film. Each image is scanned and printed digitally, but essentially what you see before you is what the camera captured.
